Priyamani is upset that she is not getting offers in kollywood

Bharathiraja introduced Priyamani through the film Kangalal Kaidhu Sei. She attained the number one status after acting in the film Paruthiveeran. She got the National Award for her best acting in this film.


After this her films did not do well at the box office. She only got some small roles in Raavanan and Rattha Charithram. Now she has no Tamil films in her hand. Because of this she is concentrating in Telugu and Kannada films. When asked her that whether she will not act in Tamil films, she sadly said that she is not getting suitable stories and she will act if she gets good stories.

Priyamani had celebrated her birthday last week in Bangalore. She is currently acting in a Telugu mythological film titled Kshetram. She while speaking about this said, "It was a new experience in acting in a historical film. This film will be an important one in my film career."
